Promote your event

  • On the event page, use the share button at the top to open your device’s share sheet, or the copy button to copy the link.
  • On the management page, the Overview tab has the event link with a copy button under the poster preview.

If the event has a capacity, the share message mentions how many spots are left.

Choose Share poster on the event page or the management page. GatherEasy makes a poster image of your event with a QR code. Choose Share poster to send it straight to an app, or Save poster to download it for printing or social media.

On the management page, open More → Embed Event:

  • Embed as Button: a registration button that takes visitors to checkout.
  • Embed Event Page: the whole event page.

Choose Copy and paste the code into your website.

Groups can embed a live list of all their events. See Manage your group.

Public events with a cover image and a full description can be featured on GatherEasy’s discovery pages and newsletters.

Every confirmed guest gets their own referral link when they share the event from the event page. When someone registers through it, the referral is credited. See them under Insights → Registration Referrals.

The Insights tab shows how your event page is doing:

  • Page Views for the past 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days, with a chart. Switch between Past 24 Hours, Past 7 Days and Past 30 Days.
  • Latest activity: when the page was last viewed, and where the visitor came from.
  • Registration status: going, pending and waitlisted.
  • Sources: where visitors came from.
  • Cities: where visitors are.
  • UTM Sources: add ?utm_source= to your link, for example ?utm_source=newsletter, to see which channel brought people.

For a whole group’s numbers, see Group insights.
