Connect ChatGPT
ChatGPT connects to custom MCP servers through developer mode. It’s available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu plans. On a workspace plan, an admin may need to allow it.
Turn on developer mode
Section titled “Turn on developer mode”-
In ChatGPT, open Settings.

Find Developer mode and switch it on. Depending on your version it’s under Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings, or under Security and login.
Add GatherEasy
Section titled “Add GatherEasy”-
In Settings, open Apps & Connectors (called Apps or Plugins in some versions) and choose Create (or the + button).

Confirm that you trust the app and choose Create.

A GatherEasy window opens. Sign in and choose Allow access. See Sign-in and permissions.
Use it in a chat
Section titled “Use it in a chat”Start a new chat, choose the + button in the message box and select Developer mode (or More → GatherEasy), then make sure GatherEasy is enabled for the conversation. Ask, for example: “Use GatherEasy to find a free event near me this Saturday.”
ChatGPT asks you to confirm before GatherEasy creates, changes or sends anything. Read each confirmation before you approve it.
When GatherEasy adds new features
Section titled “When GatherEasy adds new features”ChatGPT keeps a copy of the app’s tool list. After a GatherEasy update, open the app’s settings in Apps & Connectors and choose Refresh to pick up new tools.
