## Report something

Reports are private and reviewed by GatherEasy's Trust & Safety team.

- **An event**: on the event page, choose **Report event**, pick a **Reason** and add **Details**.
- **A chat message**: press and hold the message (or hover over it) and choose **Report**.
- **Anything else**, such as a group, a user or a post: open the profile menu, choose **Need support?** → **Make a report**. Choose the **Target type** (**Event**, **Group**, **User**, **Message** or **General support or resource**), paste the item's ID or link if you have it, choose a reason and describe what happened.

Reasons include **Harassment or unsafe behaviour**, **Spam or scam**, **Inappropriate content**, **Impersonation** and **Something else**.

## Block someone

Press and hold a message from them in a chat and choose **Block**. You and the blocked person can't message each other, and their messages no longer show in your chats.

If you're in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

## What hosts can see

When you register for an event, its hosts see your name, profile picture, the email address you registered with, your answers to their registration questions and whether you've checked in. Other guests see your name and picture on the guest list if the host shows it.

## Signed-in devices

**Account settings → Account → Signed-In Devices** lists every browser and device signed in to your account, with when each was last active.

- Choose **Sign Out** next to a device to end that session.
- Choose **Sign Out Everywhere** to sign out on every device, including this one. Use it if you've lost a device or signed in somewhere you no longer trust.

Signing out of the website doesn't disconnect AI assistants you've connected. See [Disconnect an assistant](https://help.gathereasy.rsvp/ai-assistants/permissions.md#disconnect-an-assistant).

## Keep your account safe

GatherEasy will never ask for your sign-in code, a password, a card number or a ticket code by message or email. Don't share them with anyone, including people who say they're from support.

## Delete your account

1. Go to **Account settings → Account** and choose **Delete Account**.
2. Read the warning and choose **Delete My Account**.

This permanently deletes your account and your events. It can't be undone. If you own a group, transfer ownership first so the community can carry on. See [Transfer ownership](https://help.gathereasy.rsvp/groups/create-and-manage.md#transfer-ownership).

## Get a copy of your data

You can ask for an export of your data from an AI assistant connected to GatherEasy ("request a GatherEasy data export"), or by contacting support.
